January 3, 140 WR: Celiose Daneel Cole, Generalissimo of the Grand Army, dies of natural causes.
January 4, 140 WR: Aubriv Harmer, Chief of Staff of the Armies of a Free Crystal, announces his plan the AFC high command for a war in Esper.
January 5, 140 WR: Aubriv Harmer, representing the United Crystal States, makes an unannounced alliance with the Tasnica Republic’s Salomo von Konigs, Proconsul of the Senate.
Vawn Quistis Heylin, the Secretary-General of the Polias Confederation of Sovereign States, and Varius Dylan Rufus, Chair of the House of Commons of the Hyland Republic, meet and make an agreement between their nations regarding an exchange of land and a small trade agreement.
January 6, 140 WR: Chancellor Garnn Machshin of the Kingdom of Guardia meets with representative Colonel William Itica of Porre on the matters of over taxation.
January 8, 140 WR: In a letter to Proconsul von Konigs and Empress Llydia Darksmouth of the Everlasting Trianglon Empire, Harmer proposes the creation of the Triad. Both leaders agree.
January 10, 140 WR: Ambassador Jonathon Parne of Chorras meets with Chancellor Machshin about over taxation.
January 13, 140 WR: The Second Great War begins at 4:34 AM South Figaro Time. Operation Storm, the UCS invasion of the Esper Union, begins as two bombing wings move in. One hits South Figaro, firing the first shots of the war. It then moves in to bomb Figaro itself, then Nikeah, and then returns through the gate north of it. The second wing moves in to hit Doma, Mobliz, Tzen, Hosluftgrad and then returns to the gate. As the cities are being bombed, the United Crystal States Space Force and Esper Union Aerospacy engage one another in orbit; the Aerospacy is pushed back to Space Fortress Eidolon, orbiting the planet of Esper IV. As the day breaks, the AFC navy enters the dimension and beats back the remains of the Esperian navy and pushes through patrols in a southward direction. In the evening, a TU-47 ‘Annihilator’ Ultima missile is dropped on the city of Nikeah, completely destroying it. South Figaro and this area are lumped under the title of the Solthai Theatre.
The Veldt Theatre opens as the Ut Infra, the underground navy and military force of Trianglon, emerges in the Veldt Continent and attacks. Despite heavy damage done to an Ut Infra cruiser, the Ut Infra takes the Veldt with ease.
The New Rablesk Colony, on a moon of the planet of Light V, is attacked by the Republic Aerospace Force and taken over as a Tasnican colony. Admiral Supreme Hector Midge leads the assault force. The assault is considered to be a part of the Light Theatre.
Chorran Director of Intelligence Sylvan DeFortuna sends a letter to Colonel William Itica of Porre, suggesting a Porre-Chorras alliance against Guardia.
January 14, 140 WR: General Stephen Murmur leads an assault against Fort Leo and takes the fortress from the Esperians.
Mid-January, 140 WR: The Armies of a Free Crystal sweep through the Figaro and Mauntor Continents, seizing South Figaro, Figaro, Jidoor, and Maranda. The Ut Infra attack and seize Doma and Mobliz.
January 22, 140 WR: The Armies of a Free Crystal under Murmur and Ut Infra under Korgan Batisse converge on Hosluftgrad. The Esperians underneath General Minor Leonard Senterman retreat from the city after a pitched battle and fall back to Albrook. The AFC and Ut Infra push into Tzen shortly afterward.
February 1, 140 WR: The Tasnicans launch Operation Cyclops, initiating the invasion of Ticondera in tandem with the Armies of a Free Crystal. They begin by landing in the Abdilene region, and then begin the push towards North Viper. Hector Midge leads the RMC and August Daumme the AFC, initially.
February 4, 140 WR: The Polias Confederation of Sovereign States’ five hundredth assembly convenes, and votes in a trade pact with the Republic of Hyland and a conservation pact.
February 10, 140 WR: The Esper United Soldiery launches Operation Skylark from Albrook, seizing the city of Thamasa from the Trianglon Empire.
February 18, 140 WR: The Trianglon Empire sends its Enforcers, the civil defense and police of the empire, to take Thamasa back from the Esperians. The Empress also covertly sends in the Zealots, her personal guard forces, who bombard and level the island with linked Ultima spells. General Senterman dies in the incident.
February 19, 140 WR: The Esper United Soldiery, now under the command of General Minor Ted Payvern, dubs itself the Army of the Solthai.
February 21, 140 WR: The Army of the Solthai escapes Albrook, aided by an Esper Union Aerospacy assault, commanded by Admiral Norris Gaston Crow, on the United Crystal States Space Force fleet blockading Esper III. The Army of the Solthai flees to Space Fortress Eidolon in Esper IV orbit.
March 3, 140 WR: Sub-Admiral William Schweisam and General Allen Blackridge replace Midge and Daumme as the commanding officers in Ticondera.
Early March, 140 WR: Prime Minister Wren Union Jameson of the Federal Kingdom of Carrion attempts to organize an alliance to counter the Triad prior to its invasion of the Carrion Dimension.
March 5, 140 WR: The officers of the Triad meet and form a plan for the invasion of Carrion.
March 7, 140 WR: The forces under William Itica of Porre take Porre and New Dorino, then announce that they have Petior Pendouris, the rightful King of Guardia.
March 15, 140 WR: The Republican Aerospace Force, underneath Hector Midge, launches an assault against the Federal Armed Space Fleets in the Carrion Dimension, defeating the FASF completely. The Armies of a Free Crystal under Major General August Daumme and General Superior Server Leopold enter the Carrion Dimension on the Carrion Continent. Daumme begins pushing east towards Carrion City, while Leopold begins pushing west towards the Republic of West. At the same time, the Diablerie and Au Fait move in, beginning an assault on the orbital stations employed by the Republic of Man. The main body of the United Crystal States Space Force Regulars follows and begins to engage the Manx Home Defense Voidforce, but are interrupted by the arrival of the Fifth Manx Expeditionary Voidfleet. The Fifth only retrieves Citizen Marathon of the Republic of Man, however, before retreating. The Home Defense Voidforce is soundly thrashed, and the UCSSF begins deploying D-7 forces against the Republic of Man’s ground forces and bombards the capital of Tasset with a Gigamerton barrage that levels nine-tenths of the city. CEO Bella Cose of Quistgaard Heavy Industrial dies in the bombardment. The Trianglon Ut Infra begin to invade Blaenau Gwent.
March 21, 140 WR: Rear General Vernon Huxley of the Federal Army stalls Server Leopold’s westward advance at the Morganne Forest.
March 22, 140 WR: The Federal Kingdom of Carrion, the Holy Mana Empire, and the Scandian League enter an alliance against the Triad, called the Web Defense Initiative.
At the same time, the Republican Marine Corps begin Operation Red Orchestra in the Republic of West, occupying it from town to town.
March 25, 140 WR: The Scandian League Combined Military expeditionary force under Lieutenant General Trevor Neider arrives in the Federal Kingdom held port of Anner-Baule.
March 27, 140 WR: The SLCM and Federal Army make a joint assault on the Triad held city of Lieme, and push Server Leopold and his forces out of it.
The Army of the Solthai departs Eidolon and uses a Gate in New Dorino, held by the Porrean rebels, to enter the Carrion Dimension.
March 28, 140 WR: Wren Jameson announces the creation of the WDI in a speech televised Web-wide.
Aubriv Harmer, after a conversation with Emperor Aunsfeld Navarre I, orders an Ultima missile strike that destroys the entire nation and renders Alter-Mana uninhabitable.
March 29, 140 WR: The Scandian and Federal Kingdom military forces abandon Lieme and Anner-Baule, and move to the fortress of Analius on the border between West and the Federal Kingdom.
Late March, 140 WR: The Army of the Solthai pushes into West, moving through towns including Simmy Creek on their way to Analius. Colonel Spike Ruger enlists with a number of the Western Militia as the Esperians move through.
April 1, 140 WR: Carrion City falls to Daumme. Wren Union Jameson is executed, and the army turns around to aid in the assault on Analius.
April 2, 140 WR: A terrorist assault on Trianable in Hyland destroys the harbor of the city and raises tensions between the Republic of Hyland and Polias Confederation of Sovereign States.
April 4, 140 WR: The Armies of a Free Crystal, assisted by the Ut Infra, meet the Republican Marine Corps at Analius, engaging a mixture of Federal Kingdom, Western, Scandian, and Esperian forces. Cognate General Neville Darksmouth disappears in the battle, after a Zealot assault on enemy and friendly forces. General Superior Server Leopold is killed in the same assault. Rear General Vernon Huxley, Colonel Spike Ruger, Colonel Lewis Brackham of the SLCM, and General Minor Ted Payvern retreat from Analius by sea. Lieutenant General Trevor Neider dies in the battle. The Carrion Continent falls to the Triad.
The same day, Chief of Staff Aubriv Harmer makes a speech commemorating the Triad’s victory.
April 8, 140 WR: The Triad holds a victory celebration in the Grand Army Headquarters in Albrook, formerly occupied by the Esper United Soldiery.
April 10, 140 WR: The fleet of the PCSS United Army and the navy of the Republic of Hyland clash, prior to any official declaration of war.
The headquarters of the Nadir Phoenix, an underground publication, is attacked and burnt down by Trianglon Enforcers.
Major General August Daumme begins the campaign in Dragon. The United Crystal States Space Force thrashes the SLCM Space Service, despite a few unexpected surprises. The Armies of a Free Crystal set down in the northeastern part of the continent and begin to move south.
April 12, 140 WR: Admiral Supreme Hector Midge resumes command of the Ticonderan theater and begins a push towards North Viper. To attempt to save Ticondera, an alliance is made in the city of North Viper called the United Defenders of Ticondera, with Judas Kordridge, Myra Orren, and Michael the Templar in command.
Daumme’s forces take the twin cities of Tantar and Tuntar. The civilian populations of the cities aid in the assault and suffer heavy casualties.
April 16, 140 WR: The Quistgaard Liberation Front begins to reinforce the Manx-held city of Northgate in Fenwyr, on Blaenau Gwent.
April 18, 140 WR: Terrorists claiming to be from the Narcolic Preservation Society, a group supporting the Skurd faith strike Sebedor Island, in Tasnica. Tasnica begins to support the PCSS as a result.
Daumme’s forces take the capital of the Scandian Bureaucracy, Auria. Most of the Bureaucracy’s officers and ministers die in the battle.
April 28, 140 WR: The main force of the QLF under Ryn Cose assaults the Valley Forge and launches a campaign to retake Blaenau Gwent from the Triad.
April 29, 140 WR: North Viper falls to the Triad forces under Midge.
May 1, 140 WR: Off the Dantic Atoll, a hijacked Manx-type Gaugal destroys a top secret Esperian mecha.
May 7, 140 WR: The Triad forces in Blaenau Gwent are systematically routed and destroyed in the Valley Forge by a Unity Device. Admiral Korgan Batisse of the Ut Infra defects with his vessel, the Yggdrasil, to Quistgaard War Industries.
May 16, 140 WR: Typhon is discovered during a raid on a Hyland facility.
May 22, 140 WR: The Triad launches a counterattack against Blaenau Gwent, at the Eastgate Forward Base. General Hastings of the Republican Marine Corps leads the assault. The attack fails, and Hastings is killed in the assault.
June 13, 140 WR: The Tasnicans launch the assault against Thebes. They invade the continent and conquer some areas, and lay siege to the capital. The Thebeans respond by starting a celebration and gladiatorial games.
June 22, 140 WR: Daumme and his forces arrive in Arad and seize the desert region, cutting off the oil supplies to the Scandians.
July 2, 140 WR: Howler Ronelace is promoted to Ascended and given command of the Nightmare of Thorns.
July 9, 140 WR: Ascended Howler Ronelace and his forces attack the city of Spring on Dragon III, destroying much of it in the firefight.
July 17, 140 WR: The Battle of Scande is fought. August Daumme and his forces attack the city from the east, Ronelace and his from the north, the Ut Infra from the west, and the Tasnicans from the south. The city falls after a pitched battle. However, the Army of the Solthai, the Band of the Tiger, and the Dracoforms escape by way of Korgan Batisse and his infraterra fleet.
July 19, 140 WR: The Confederated States of Man are founded. The Republic of West becomes a part of the CSM at the behest of one Waylon Smith, and Ryn Cose is elected its first President.
Shana Cole visits Christian Cole in Hyland, and requests he attempt to bring an end to the war between Hyland and the Polias Confederation of Sovereign States. Christian agrees to her proposal.
July 20, 140 WR: Dexter Skalice and other Thebean Senators began to scheme to force Empress Clementia to end the Tasnican siege of Thebes.
The Sodom Fleet arrives at Crystal III. Shock Lieutenant Layzner Hound is assigned to Darwin Anaheim, with orders to find the Triad traitor that killed Hastings at Eastgate, and attempted to kill Daumme at Scande. Both are also intended to participate in the Triad invasion of Gate.
Colonel Itica’s forces launch an attack on Bangor. While they escape, bombs set by Machshin’s forces reduce the city to rubble.
July 23, 140 WR: The United Crystal States Space Force begins to prepare for Operation Foxglove in tandem with Triad forces, and unveils the new Artic series mecha, shared by all nations in the Triad. One is assigned to Captain Jericho Falls of the Trianglon forces. While on their way to the staging point for Foxglove, a truespace interdictor pulls a Manx squadron from transit. In the chaos of the battle, the Primortal of the Au Fait is killed.
August 7, 140 WR: Backwoods Dam in the Republic of Tasnica is destroyed in a terrorist assault by an unknown small group of Seraphim.
August 24, 140 WR: Tasnican advisors and Kuat Arms Experts arrive in the PCSS to advice Polias’ military on fighting Hyland. At the same time, Christian Cole, Chairman of the House of Nobles of Hyland, arrives in Polias. He fails to negotiate a peace.
August 29, 140 WR: Colonel William Itica’s forces from Porre launch their attack on Arris. In the fighting, the Porrean forces seem to initially have a chance for victory, but Machshin’s forces unveil the Aegis, a new Guardian mecha based on the Seraphim, and push Itica’s forces back.
September 6, 140 WR: General Theodore Payvern of the Army of the Solthai and President Ryn Cose of the Confederated States of Man meet and create an alliance.
September 24, 140 WR: Tasnican forces in Thebes began recruiting local barbarian tribes, including the Kalts, led by Vertinax, as assistance to their own forces in laying siege to the Thebean capital.
September 28, 140 WR: The invasion of Gate begins. The United Crystal States Space Force deploys the D-7 and the Sodom Fleet, with several squadrons of Artic mecha, as a feint that will lead the Medinan Republican Army’s space fleet and the Guardian Space Fleet into the new Tasnican vessels, the Imperium-class bioships. In the Battle of Gate III’s Orbit, Admiral Rupert Greene of the Guardian Space Fleet, General Emilio Carrillo of the Medinan Republican Army, Lieutenant Antonio Carrillo of the Medinan Republican Army, and Captain Jorge Dinan of the Republican Aerospace Force are killed. The Medinan flagship, the Eusic Mori, is also lost, along with all hands onboard. Unbeknownst to the Tasnicans, Dinan and his ship, the bioship Troilus, were lost to the traitor within the Triad’s ranks. Roberto Carrillo, the last of the Carrillo brothers, escapes back to Medina to lead the MRA.
September 29, 140 WR: Stephen Gregory Murmur is promoted to General Superior of the Tactical Corps, replacing the late General Server Leopold.
Salomo von Konigs, the Prime Minister of Tasnica, visits the occupied Federal Kingdom of Carrion, while fending off accusations of carrying the war on too long by the Tasnican Senate.
October 5, 140 WR: A small number of freedom fighters escape from Triad-occupied North Viper in Ticondera, onboard the former submarine of the late Emperor Figaro, the Kallisti.
The Triad sets down in Medina. August Daumme and his forces attack the Medinan city of Zealgrad, supported by elements of the Black Omega. Captain Roberto Carrillo and General Loretta Bonilla attempt to defend the city, but are forced to fall back to Medina City itself.
October 11, 140 WR: Kedei Pendouris, surviving princess of Guardia and an heir to the throne, and her protector, Ezekiel Solquin, secretly arrive in Truce.
October 14, 140 WR: The Black Bear vessel Hellion retrieves Typhon in space, while Hyland Rangers take the Polias city of Trois, and begin to move on the Polias city of Vier. Dylan Varius Rufus explains his actions as tyrant to a council as this happens.
October 16, 140 WR: Tasnican protests against the war intensify in Palmerston Square, in the Quad, upon Prime Minister von Konigs’ return to Tasnica.
October 25, 140 WR: Polias forces shoot down a Hyland plane with Christian Cole onboard. Cole survives the crash, and is brought back to Hyland.
October 27, 140 WR: Hyland forces take the city of Vier from the Polias Confederacy. The Pope of Vier is killed in the fighting.
August Daumme’s forces approach Medina and begin attacking the capital. In the fighting, Captain Roberto Carrillo, commanding the Medinan Republican Army, commits suicide by detonating a Dark Matter bomb mounted underneath the city. Carrillo, Karl Weavers of the Black Omega, and Firedog Dien Xangchou of the Three Hellhounds are killed in the blast. Firedog Zeiben Hausmachte of the Three Hellhounds was killed prior to the blast. The Diomedes, Daumme’s Giott-class land battleship, is destroyed, but Daumme lives and is saved along with a handful of others by the Republican Marines Corps.
November 2, 140 WR: Kedei Pendouris has Chancellor Garnn Machshin arrested, and assumes the throne as the rightful Queen of Guardia in a short, bloodless coup. Machshin later escapes from prison, thanks to aid from his former allies.
November 4, 140 WR: General August Daumme, hospitalized in Tripport from his injuries at Medina, is relieved of his command of the ground forces in Gate. General Stephen Murmur is given the command as his replacement.
November 6, 140 WR: The Council of Ascended vote Howler Ronelace as the Primortal of the Au Fait.
The 1st Autonomous Squadron is assembled by the Armies of a Free Crystal, and dubbed the Widowmakers. Major Darwin Anaheim is the commanding officer, Shock Lieutenant Layzner Hound is the executive officer, and Askance Jiro of the Hellhounds and nine other men are assigned to the squadron. In addition to being an elite force, it is also meant to find the identity of the traitor and assassin in the Triad ranks, and dispatch of him. He is known to be one of the Widowmakers.
November 8, 140 WR: The Triad invasion of Guardia begins with a massive assault on several Guardian cities simultaneously.
The Ut Infra and Zealots launch an attack on the city of Arris, with Piety commanding the Zealots present. The GDF IV Corps, local help, and a small Medinan contingent including ace pilot Giuseppe Verdi, engage the Triad forces. Porrean forces attack Manx reinforcements led by Korgan Batisse, but are called off under the orders of Petior Pendouris. The Manx reinforcements arrive and engage the Ut Infra. A local man that helped in the defense seemingly kills Piety with a rare Desert Wyvern .44 magnum pistol, and the Triad is pushed away from Arris.
General Murmur leads the advance on the city of Trann, supported by the 10th RMC Regiment commanded by Colonel Gerald Richter, an Ut Infra squadron, and Primortal Ronelace and the Nightmare of Thorns. He deploys the Widowmakers in combat. His opponents are the GDF II Corps, commanded by General Cassius Morgan, and the Army of the Solthai, with its own infraterra squadron. The Army of the Solthai tricks Murmur and his men into being surrounded in Trann. An independent destroyer, named the King of Albrook, arrives in the battle, and tests out the first Archseraph, the Easy Eight, in battle. Primortal Ronelace is severely wounded by an axe blow and the Easy Eight’s Optimal Standards Device. General Murmur, Colonel Richter, and General Morgan all die in the battle. The Triad is routed from Trann, and forced to retreat by air.
Triad forces including Black Omega aces Hiroko Shiawese, a clone of the late Karl Weavers, and Avarael Cole attack Taban Island. Taban Island’s Guardian Defense Force elements are assisted by the Band of the Tiger under Yulia Svensgaard, the Holy Templar under Gabriel of the Templar and Miles Cross, and the Army of the Solthai’s Dracoform forces. Avarael Cole retreats under mysterious circumstances for the first time in the war, and the Triad is ultimately pushed back. Taban Island is cleaved in half by a balefire blast from Miles Cross, the Mana Knight.
November 10, 140 WR: General Ted Payvern, having returned from Gate to Tasset, in the Confederated States of Man, meets with General Niles Donovan and other officers from the defunct Esper United Soldiery. Donovan demands a counteroffensive in Esper, which Payvern refuses.
November 11, 140 WR: President Ryn Cose of the Confederated States of Man, General Ted Payvern of the Army of the Solthai, General Patrick Gannes of the Guardian Defense Force, General Scipio of Thebes, Sister Mary, the Master of the Holy Armies of the Holy Order of the Templar, and Yulia Svensgaard, leader of the Band of the Tiger, meet in Tasset, Confederated States of Man. The six leaders agree to work together to launch an invasion of Transbaron, using a plan prepared by Payvern.
