Gate Dimension

The Gate Dimension is a Core world. It is the central world of both the Kingdom of Guardia and the Republic of Medina.

Gate I

Also known as Doan's World, Gate I has been successful colonized by Guardia and Medina. It is one of the more hostile colonial worlds to live on, such that its domes require special heat-shielding and have very little transparency for solar exposure. Ships can only dock at the Gate I domes during the planet's nighttime cycle. The Doan's World colony is used by the Guardian Energy Concern for the production of Sunstones, as well as other research into the application of solar power.

Gate II

Called Skull's World, Gate II also hosts a joint Guardian-Medinan colony. Gate II is known for a special hydroponically-grown treat, called "Moon Peanuts" by the colonists. They insist that Moon Peanuts are an amazing snack not known anywhere else in the Web of Worlds, but in actuallity they're just salt-roasted soy beans.

Gate III

The only world in Gate that sustains native life. Home to Guardia, Medina and the El Nido archipelago.

The Gate Belt

Home to the bulk of Gatian space mining operations.

Gate IV

Called Atreus, Gate IV was one of the first space colonies ever founded. It had once been dominated by the Gate-based Atreus, Inc, until Atreus split with the other Gate powers. The old Atreus domes were given over to the Archons, and are now dubbed the Roost of the Archons.

Gate V

Dubbed New Truce, Gate V is home to the Web's first offworld gas mining operation. The production here is much lower than at the Redemption colony in Merge.

Gate VI

The New Medina colony is the farthest-out colonized world in Gate. It was once home to only Robots and Nu, because of how harsh it was to live there, but with recent advances the human and mystic populations have steadily risen. New Medina's local governments are focusing their efforts on making the world of Gate VI tourist friendly, being that it's the world closest to Gate's Strand drop-off point.
