Born in the Gold Isle, away from his father, Miles’ mother Cassandra decided that he had to be concealed to protect the future Mana Knight. He was sent to a family in an arcology, there to be raised as a ‘normal boy’ until the time was right.

That time came in 140 WR, when the old Mana Knight, Fara Somers, informed him of his destiny and began training him. Unfortunately, this training was cut short when Fara was killed by Avarael Cole. Miles fled, and became lost in the Blight.

With Fara dead, Miles was fully vested with the Mana Sword and the powers of the Mana Knight. He was attacked by a gang, and he killed one of them. He found the experience quite exhilerating, and later in the day, it was combined with getting high and having sex for the first time. Miles embraced his newfound power, and enjoyed killing things.

He was found by the Templar and taken in by them as almost a prisoner, but they trained him. They felt every resource was needed to fight the Triad, including the Mana Knight. Even though some wondered if he had any soul to save, (and a few wanted to simply kill him), his training continued. He developed a crush on one of his trainers. Then, the Black Omega killed her. Combined with the realization that the Black Omega were also responsible for the death of Fara (and that they would be fun to kill), Miles has vowed to hunt down and destroy the elite Kuat combat unit, especially their leader, Avarael Cole.
