One of the few surviving scions of the Dragon Dimension's Dragon Clans, Troi was born during the Dark Dragon occupation of his homeland of Auria, and fled his homeworld with the rise of the Scandian League. Together he and his family travelled by way of Winlan to Esper, settling down in Tzen. There he kept his heritage and powers a secret, and lived a very simple life, up until the Leviathan War. When the Scandians invaded, Troi joined the REF and found himself pitted against troops from his home dimension. In a seldom reported incident, Troi assumed Dragonform and saved his battallion from destruction at the hands of one of Scande's vaunted Dracoform mecha.

When the war ended, Troi found his appetite for adventure had been kindled. He responded to an ad placed by Tarvo Earthblade and signed on with the Goblin as a member of the Earthblade Mercenaries. He's been with Tarvo ever since, and is one of the goblin mercenary's secret weapons.
