General Kunominous is the unquestioned leader of the Moogles in the Merge Dimension, and one of the most dastardly clever Moogles ever to walk the face of the Web of Worlds.

He rose to power during the Mooglish Civil War, when the deaths of his Chieftain and the Chieftain's only heir left him in charge of a Balian-supported Mooglish regime. Kunominous signed formal peace treaties with the Balians, then his people disappeared into their forests, content to dwell peaceably among themselves (burdened now, as they were, with Kunominous' quasi-dictatorial rule). Under Kunominous, the Moogles gave limited aid to Bal during the War of Conjunction, and since provided aid to Bal in its war with Guardia and with rooting out and expelling OmniSent agents (a task wonderfully suited to Mooglish telepathy).

Despite the Mooglish territories lacking any notable form of industry, advanced weapons and technologies have been known to trickle into the hands of Kunominous' foces from time to time. The Moogles stole and made heavy use of Tri-form shipbuilding technology (originally developed in Karnak), and the Moogles are believed to have several hidden shipyards, from which they command the second most powerful navy in the Merge dimension.

Kunominous formally joined his people together with the Balians following the Quelban Revolution; the unified Kingdom of Bal is now confined wholly to the Kuzar Continent, and Kunominous counts himself as one of King Calleis Galgadon's Twelve Tiger Generals. As one of the Twelve Tigers, he was granted one of the Legendary Weapons: the katana Ichimonji.
