Guardian Calendar

Calendar dating from the founding of the Kingdom of Guardia, marking the fall of the Zenan Empire and ushering in an era of Guardian dominance of the Gate Dimension. Time before the founding is dated "BC" ("Before the Crown"), increasing as you move farther back away from the event. Time following the founding is dated "AD" ("Age of Dominion"), starting from the year 1 AD (like the Esperian calendar, there is no year 0). Gate and much of the Fringe use the Guardian Calendar, though parts of the Merge Dimension use both the Guardian and Esperian calendars interchangeably.

The current year is 2329 AD; one Kupopolis year is equivalent to six real-world months, except when it isn't.
