The Dark Gods are the evil half of the Web Pantheon. Their followers became the Dark Wrath and were defeated in the Great War. According to most legends, after their defeat, UL banished them to The Place Which Is No More. There are some who believe that the Light Gods actually fought them and won, perhaps killing them, and perhaps losing some of their own in the process. Seeing as how The Place Which Is No More is often believed to be a euphemism for death, these explanations may both be true.

Though Torak and Thanatos were leaders of the Dark Gods during the Great War, this is not always the case. The Dark Gods often compete for primacy.
