Mishima Eblana

Mishima Ebalana I was the first to establish himself as King of Eblan after the breakup of the ancient civilization of Xsia. It is his line that continues straight through to today's "Falcon Monarch", Edge Eblana VIII.

Many have studied how he was able to bring Eblan under his control; other local warlords had larger armies and more territory. However, Mishima managed to "buy off" many of these warlords, promising them positions as Daimyo within the new regime. One of the key factors in his success was the spread of the religion of Lunarianism; Mishima not only converted to the religion, he claimed to be a direct descendent of Seliane the Moon Goddess herself. Even today, the line of Eblanese Kings is regarded as bordering on divine by some.

Kupopolis Legends

In Legends, Mishima is still a young man. He is one of several powerful feudal lords in the Lo-Xsia province, tasked with colonizing the area and driving out the Oni. Like many Lo-Xsia, Mishima is a devout Lunarist, who believes that the teachings of the Lunarians are revealed divine truth. An avid falconer, who uses his skill for the birds of prey both for hunting and military scouting. This is far from his only source of intelligence, however; Mishima is always well-informed as to the plans of the Oni, other daimyo, and even happenings in the Imperial Court in Hai-Xsia.

Mishima was raised with Hiro Kurita virtually from birth, and the two have sworn an oath of brotherhood. The two noble houses have vowed to always assist the other in time of need.

Mishima's father, Isokaru Eblana recently abdicated in favor of Mishima.
