Isokaru Eblana

The father of Mishima Eblana, Isokaru is known as "The Master with the Iron Crutch", because he walks with a crutch and he is quite masterful. Despite his limp and advanced age, Isokaru is rumored to be quite the fighter, and an expert in several esoteric magical and martial techniques.

Isokaru is a veteran warrior of countless campaigns; at some point or another he has battled all of the [{Xsian Empire]]'s enemies, which is saying quite a lot. One one such campaign, Hiro Kurita's father sacrificed himself to save Isokaru's life; Isokaru vowed that young Hiro would be raised beside young Mishima as his brother.

A cunning samurai who won countless victories for Xsia, Isokaru might've been appointed to the high post of Celestial General in the Imperial Court, answerable directly to His Magnificence, Kai Tsao Shou Lung Xsia Chin, Who Soars with Dragons and Rules All Under Heaven. However, his Lunarist religion and Lo-Xsia descent led to him being passed over. After a battle with an Oni left him limp, he choose to abdicate in favor of his son, Mishima, while still retaining his title and status.
