The Annual Festival

A Spekkian festival, held once per year, taking place during the last two weeks and first two weeks of every year. Founding Day occurs in the middle of this festival. The Festival is rather low-key on most years, with parades and pageants given in anticipation (and in the aftermath) of Founding Day. On the Decade, Century and Millenium, the Festival is somewhat grander, marked by a grand fair and athletic competitions held in Truce.
