Dreamstone

A magic mineral found only in the Gate Dimension. Unlike Magilyte, Dreamstone is never used for fuel. It is highly valued by Guardians because of its impressive durability, and its highly magical nature makes it ideally suited for several types of enchantment.

Enchanted Dreamstone items are often sentient, and can have spiritual manifestations housed within them depending on the strength of the enchantment. The swords of the Knights of the Square Table are all Dreamstone blades possessed by powerful spirits. The Shield's namesake dreamstone shield was also inhabited by a spirit named Shiru (before said item was destroyed by Manta).
