A book written by the scholar Genruo, who was a contemporary of the mortal form of Shang-Ti. Though historically passed off as a book of mediocre poems, it was actually a book of prophecy inspired by Genruo's study of Lunarian divination.

Kupopolis Legends

The book's true meaning as prophecy was known to the deity Sung Chiang, who over the course of two centuries stole all existing copies of the book from the mortal world. Because of the dimensional portals which opened up the Web of Worlds in the Legends timeline, Sung Chiang believed the Canon's prophecy was coming to pass, and so worked hurriedly to understand and take advantage of it.

Ambiguities in the text prevented Sung Chiang from divining the full extent of the Canon's prophecy; on the advice of Genruo's spirit, Sung Chiang dispatched his minions to the five other worlds of the Legends Web to search for other prophecies similar to the one written in the Canon.

The First Piece

The minion named Sho was assigned to track down a prophecy piece in the World of Light, but Mu caught up with him, slew him, and continued where he left off. He brought to Sung Chiang and Genruo two significant gifts: first, the Book of Mudora, and second, the Sahasrala Scrolls. The Book was useful because of its magical properties of translation; the Scrolls contained the actual prophecy. With it, Genruo was able to clarify the earlier passages of the Canon of Changes, learning that there would be an "heir" in the World of Light who, aided by a "dark god" (which Sung Chiang presumed referred to himself), would collect and assemble several "objects of great power," and then claim the throne.

The Second Piece

The minion named Chi was assigned to track down a prophecy piece in the World of Titans, but Mu, again, caught up with him, brutally killed him, and took his place. He brought to Sung Chiang a trove of treasures from a hidden enclave of sa'Bleu priestesses, among which were the Gold Tablets of Hara'ish. The tablets contained references to "dragons of night", and an "army of monsters," which in service to the Goddess of Desire set to marching against the rest of the world in conquest. Because these things were also spoken of in the Canon of Changes, and the Canon linked the Goddess of Desire to the "Dark God" mentioned in the Sahasrala Scrolls, he believed that the World of Titans would provide him with powerful allies.
