Saint

Saint was a Hajes who was once given asylum and hidden away by Tasset Bichass. In order to repay this favor, Saint reappeared years later in Roan to stand by Tasset's son, Carlos in his darkest hour. When it seemed everyone in the country was out for the young King's blood, Saint formulated the plan to create the Bastille as a prison for any and all would-be assassins. Saint also created the plan to keep the peoples' minds off of internal problems with an ongoing war to recreate the Roanese Empire. He was instrumental in the brilliant strategies employed in the war by the Roanese forces, including the Jackscrews.

Saint's greatest contribution came when the boy Run threw off his guise and staged his coup to create the Republic of Man. Run, then revealed as Marathon, employed the Hajes known as Vector to assure that Carlos not leave the imperial compound at Acacia alive.

As Hajes go, Saint was weak. He was completely outstripped by the massive Vector but fought all the same, needing to repay his debt to Carlos' father, and even more needing to save his friend's life. Nimrod came to Saint's aid, but it wasn't enough. In the end, Saint was destroyed.
