Doomguard

An arms smuggling organization based out of Chorras in the Gate Dimension. The Doomguard were founded during the Syndicate Wars as part of the Chorran resistance to Trann Syndicate occupation. Arris and Proto both worked with the Doomguard to smuggle weapons in to the resistance in order to weaken Trann's position there. Following the Syndicate Wars, the Doomguard operated in defiance of Guardia's ban on private ownership of weapons within the Kingdom's borders, serving mainly clients in the newly annexed Chorran prefectures. Eventually, criminal organizations (calling themselves "Syndicates") rose up in parts of Chorras, and they relied on the Doomguard to supply their weapons. More recently the Doomguard has affiliated itself with a secretive Chorran separatist movement.

For as long as most can remember the Doomguard has been headed by Eli Cromlich.
