Mercenary organization formed of remnants of the old Ticonderan Freedom Fighter group who fled the country after Caidin's revolution. Served with distinction in the Leviathan War and elsewhere.
After the collapse of communism in Ticondera, some of the Hell's Highlanders returned. The Highlanders began recruiting displaced people, or people looking for adventure and excitement, from all of the Ticonderan 'successor states'.
So far, they have steadfastly refused to participate in the Ticonderan Civil War, or even take a contract in Ticondera. Given that the Highlanders are increasingly drawn from all over Ticondera, this is probably a good idea.
