Tyr is the Goddess of Destruction and Desire. Her worship is known as k'Tyr. The principal evil deity of the Dragon Dimension, she is locked in a timeless struggle with Bleu, the Goddess of Wisdom and Justice. Bleu wants you to follow a bunch of "rules" for "right and wrong"...Tyr wants you to get what you want.

Tyr has had several forms; often, she chooses one to disarm her opponent and put them off guard, as when she appeared as a small, crying girl. Like almost all of the female gods, Tyr has at least one form of a superlatively beautiful woman, often subtly reflecting the desires and attractions of who she means to persuade. And if that doesn't work, she has enormously powerful dragon form.

When you get right down to it, Tyr thinks she's a little bit better than the other Dark Gods. (But the same could be said for any of the Dark Gods, so that's not saying much.) Tyr thrives on a simple fact: what people want, and what they're willing to do to get it, is the most destructive force in the universe.

Some go so far as to believe that Tyr was originally created as a neutral, or even good, deity, charged with helping mortals attain happiness. But what the mortals wanted most was to destroy each other. It was the mortal capacity for evil that corrupted Tyr and drove her to embody Destruction and Desire. In fact, some believe that this is why Tyr has always manipulated wishes to get mortals to fight each other: on some level, mortalkind's deepest desire is war and self-annihilation.

Do you want something? ASK TYR FOR HOW

One of Tyr's most noted abilities is the granting of wishes. Her ability to provide immediate, tangible boons is part of why her faith was so durable in the Dragon Dimension. To her followers, she is the Goddess of Plenty, willing to give you whatever you could desire so long as you what she asks.

The il'Bleu often claim that the wishes will backfire, or give some horrible result. This is Light God drivel. Over thousands of years, Tyr and priestesses have granted billions of wishes; her reputation would be ruined in short order if she didn't deliver the goods. Besides, Tyr figures that if you're willing to kill a thousand babies for immortality, she's not going to cheat you by cursing you with uncontrollable flatulence for all eternity. Of course, Tyr often manipulates the wishes to her own ends as part of some grand design. She is also quite capable of influencing and magnifying the desires of mortals. But the fact is, when told they can have anything, your average mortal will get into some pretty awful shit in pretty short order.

Priesthood and Minions

Tyr's priesthood are known as the Tyranids; they are almost all beautiful women, and have an uncanny empathetic ability to discern what someone wants. And they have acid for blood. Tyranids had some portion of Tyr's wish-granting power; with so many souls to corrupt, Tyr has to delegate. They could create Warriors of Discord, huge bersekers with spiky bodies gone insane with rage. Tyr's own chosen minions, however, were chimeras.

The Great War

Tyr's mortal has been killed a couple of times, but someone always wants her back. Most recently she was resurrected with the power of Sai Krolis during the Great War. This sort of indebted her to Thanatos.

Kupopolis Legends

Tyr is worshipped by the Titans of the World of Titans as the source of their power. All in all, she's doing really well in Legends.
