Language spoken in the empire of [[Thebes]] and lingua franca of [[Terra Nostra]]. Similiar to Latin.  Like Latin, Theban is constructed primarily of "stems" and "endings" that signify the function of the "stem" in a sentence.  The net effect of this linguistic structure is that word-order is virtually meaningless in Theban (the only "rule" as such is that the verb comes last in a sentence).  It is, therefore common for native-speakers of Theban when using a different language to employ idiosyncratic sentence-structures.

Language spoken in the empire of Thebes and lingua franca of Terra Nostra.
