Theban

Language spoken in the empire of Thebes and lingua franca of Terra Nostra. Similiar to Latin. Like Latin, Theban is constructed primarily of "stems" and "endings" that signify the function of the "stem" in a sentence. The net effect of this linguistic structure is that word-order is virtually meaningless in Theban (the only "rule" as such is that the verb comes last in a sentence). It is, therefore common for native-speakers of Theban when using a different language to employ idiosyncratic sentence-structures.
