The Cadre

The Cadre is the Collective`s elite group of superagents. They are known for being somewhat destructive and lacking subtlety. They have enhanced strength, speed, endurance, lung capacity, and skin/bone density, produced by a difficult technique combining gene therapy with the sort of combat drugs used by the former Iron Army. Few agents survive the process with their minds intact, and some of those who do occasionally have side-effects; for example, Tundra developed an near-immunity to the cold and being frozen. Other Cadre members include veteran operative and former OmniSenter Ash, mysterious weather-witch Rain, sonics expert Echo, and the amazingly agile Domino.

The Cadre is the only unit within the Collective where the individual agents all know each other, if not necessarily trust each other.
