Perhaps some clarification on what, exactly, constitutes the "Web Pantheon" is in order? (for the benefit of newer contributors to Kupopolis) I agree that maybe some more clarification about Ado is needed. [[User:Scen|Scen]] 09:10, 26 July 2006 (CDT)

As long as we're having this discussion about the Web Pantheon... I wonder if we shouldn't move "Lunarism" and "il'Bleu" to separate distinctions. While those religions as they were written into Kupopolis have been around for a while, they don't really have a place among the Light Gods, since they're not traditionally counted among their number. I think both of them are probably better categorized as Monotheistic -- especially since I don't think it's stated anywhere that Bleu or Seliane are banished in the PTINM. Fleshing out and improving the portrayal of religion in Kupopolis is something I really want to strive for...I want to develop them more as belief systems and worldviews rather than simply something tacked on to a character. I was thinking the other day of the best succinct way to describe my major religions' central themes, and here is what I came up with:

  • Rainericism-the struggle to become a better person
  • Draggoneth-humility in the face of God
  • Lunarianism-rising to fill one's part in the divine plan
  • il'Bleu-correcting injustice in the world
  • Elementalism-just have fun
  • k'Tyr-the destructive power of human desires

And even though Tahranism is Nate's creation, it seems fair to describe it as the quest for knowledge and truth.

I concede that this might be a little simplistic, but at least it's something. --Celiose 18:11, 23 July 2006 (CDT)

I'd say Elementalism is more about being in harmony with nature, but it's your call. Xstryker 18:28, 24 July 2006 (CDT)

"Ado"

Isn't it a little premature to assign "Ado" to the Web Pantheon? From my understanding, the Web Pantheon set off for The Place Which Is No More before the discovery of the Gate Dimension, and thus the Gate gods are considered a separate pantheon, as are the Dragon Gods. If "Ado" turns out to be one of the Web Pantheon gods in disguise, fine, but has the story actually suggested that yet? If that does happen to be the case, I wouldn't telegraph the surprise on the wiki. Also, this is the religion portal, not just a list of gods. The links in that particular section should refer to religions based around the Web Pantheon, not the gods themselves (who are really just characters, in a sense). Xstryker 09:05, 26 July 2006 (CDT)

Perhaps some clarification on what, exactly, constitutes the "Web Pantheon" is in order? (for the benefit of newer contributors to Kupopolis) I agree that maybe some more clarification about Ado is needed. Scen 09:10, 26 July 2006 (CDT)
