:::1) There isn't a problem with it, really. It just looks messy to have continents out there by themselves at the bottom of the geography page. 2) "Places by dimension" would be the category immediately preceding "continents." Insert "section of the" between "places by dimension" and "page" in my last response to this talk, and that's what I meant.

::::1) Now that I understand what you meant, I agree with you.  The continents section at the end of the portal does look messy.  2) I don't see why continents don't "deserve" their own page in the wiki.  It's fine to talk about the continents of Gate III, or the other earth-like worlds on their pages, but I don't see why that precludes my writing a page on, say, Blaenau Gwent.  --[[User:JD|JD]] 18:47, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

Don't you guys think it would be better if you made "Continents" part of "places by dimension"? Scen 00:11, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

or, better yet, since the "places by dimension" page is getting rather cluttered, why not move all the continent links to the pages for the planet they're on? Scen 00:19, 6 August 2006 (CDT)
1) I don't understand the problem with subdividing worlds by continents, since continents are a part of geography. 2) I don't understand what you mean by moving "continents" to "places by dimension." I can't find that page. If it exists please provide a link. The only place I can find that search string is as a heading for this geography page. --JD 03:03, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

I don't think each continent, by itself, deserves a separate page in the wiki. I went ahead and did a page for Gate III with a blurb for each continent, and I think we should do something similar with the other earth-like worlds in order to better consolidate all this information.
