Maven is the Lady of Chorras, Dregoth's consort and aide. The Priests of Enkhepsis on Marbule set her aside at an early age, because the stars fortold her destiny would be entwined with the coming of the Seventh Dragon. Her identity and purpose were closely guarded by Enkhepsis and his attendants; even and especially from Marbule's Governor, who surely would have been jealous of Maven's importance and would have tried to destroy her.
It is unknown exactly how old Maven is, but she has not aged a day in the time that most have known her, and she was, until the coming of Dregoth, a common sight in and about Enkhepsis' lair for as long as anyone can remember.
Maven has left Marbule with Dregoth and now resides with him in the Governor's residence in Chorras. She is not an official by any means, and her part in Dregoth's destiny has not yet been made clear, but her loyalty to him and the fate of her birth is absolute and unquestioned.
