List of Tasnican Prime Ministers

Far from a comprehensive list.

• Belgememnon the Unforgettable, founder of the Republic (1422 WB). No political party.
• Wulf Stokkan, a Prime Minister during the age of Great Progress, a Conservative. Annexed Centwerp. His aggressive and idealistic foreign policy led to the term Stokkanite.
• Alfred Boelel, widely regarded as incredibly mediocre. Served only one term, thus fulfilling his campaign promise.
• Georgethor Cartier, a Royalist who was elected during the Dark Ages (running from about 1100 to about 800 WB). Decided that Tasnica needed a King and got the needed changes in the Plan of Form of the Tasnican government to install himself as a hereditary monarch, a position his family would hold for almost a thousand years; after the Dark Ages elected officials did their best to minimize the power of the king, and with the death of Georgethor Cartier V in 28 WR the monarchy in Tasnica came to an end.
• Nabrun Elross, who created the modern Tasnican military and performed many other reforms that would eventually pull the Republic out the dark ages resulting from the First Mana War. A half-human, half-neko. Ruled 826-804 WB; his life was cut short by a degenerative disease which now bears his name that is common among human/neko hybrids in old age. One of the few extremly successful Royalist Prime Ministers.
• Beodoric Moeller, 625-640 WB, famous for turning around a failing war against Pandora. His name is pronounced "Muller" and it Moeller was, in fact, a mul, driven from Gaia's Navel to Tasnica from the persecution his kind faced there. (Gaia's Navel became part of Tasnica about a century later.)
• Johann Haldemann, Prime Minister during at the Discovery of the Web. Famous Conservative ideologue, who penned the oft-quoted phrase, "The Government that governs least governs best." A todo.
• Wilhelm Klinten, 2 WR to 17 WR. Conservative. Pursued a policy of expansion in the Esper Dimension, and led the Republic in a bloody war with NAMAC; however after the battle at North Viper and other scandals in his office he left in disgrace. A neko.
• Rhodes Palmerston, 17 WR to 40 WR. Founded GACA. Steered Tasnica through victory in the Great War, led it to massive territorial expansion in the Age of Imperialism (guaranteeing it status as one of the Great Powers), created the Alliance Congress in the wake of the Leviathan War, and eventually left to become Sovereign Executive. Arguably the greatest Tasnican Prime Minister in history.
• Kenny Brackhaven, 40 WR to present. The first Populist elected to the post of Prime Minister. Administration marked by the curbing of excessive corporate authority through measures such as the creation of the Ministry of Labor, the expansion of social services (most significantly Federal Housing Subsidies and the National Retirement Fund), and detente with the Scandian League.

• Neo Prime Ministers. In Kupopolis Neo's continuity, Helmut Vekorod is Prime Minister at the start of the story in 140 WR; Damien Walker Gavalian has him assassinated and Salomo von Konigs becomes Prime Minister. Salomo commits Tasnica to fight with the Triad in the hope of restoring Tasnica to its glory days. At the end of the story, seeing the horror the Triad has wrought, he decides to fight against them. Neither Neo Prime Minister (or any Tasnican appearing in Neo) has their political party stated.
