Georgethor Cartier V

Last king of the Tasnica Republic, ruling from 13 WR to 28 WR. By this time the monarchy in Tasnica was an extremely marginalized institution, and Georgethor had followed the practice of earlier Tasnican Kings of maintaining some power and influence by digging up dirt on Senators and officials in the Prime Ministry. Famous for granting mysterious "favors" and making people offers "they couldn't refuse." His most significant decision was bringing Rainericism to Tasnica. After his death, the monarchy was dismantled, but one of his children, Emily Cartier, later turned up and married Damien Gavalian to become Emily Gavalian. The Georgethor Institute of Magic is named for him (and not one of the other four Georgethors.)
