Best Supporting Character Category was one of the original Figgy categories, though it was temporarily discontinued when the Figgies were resurrected in 2000. This category is designed to honor memorable characters in the Kupopolis story, who unlike Best Males and Best Females, take on a more supporting role in Kupopolis story arcs.
