Kank

Also known as "Sand Aphids," Kanks are large omnivorous insects native to Earth Dragon Island in El Nido in the Gate Dimension. Kanks are herbivorous and petrivorous, and can subsist both on the modest scrub-growth on the island as well as sand and rocks. Their waste byproduct is a globule of sweet honey-like substance, which humans and other sapients can subsist on. For this reason, Kanks are herded by the settlers of Arcusville.
