Jendon Fel is ‘the’ Scandian mecha ace, famous for his exploits in the Leviathan War and widely regarded as the best Dracoform pilot (which irks Sheila Sporr to no end). Fel was one of the first people to pilot a Dracoform, and indeed was a test pilot in the Scandian project that created it. A towering black human, Fel exudes an air of nobility that’s surprising from a Scandian. What’s also surprising for a Scandian is his code of honor. Fel will often engage enemies in one-on-one duels. Although during the Leviathan War he cleaved apart whole regiments now he’s hinting that he will only take the field against other mecha, and preferably only against a machine comparable to his own Onyx Drake. During the Leviathan War he even helped shield Aly Halberg from fire. At Second Hosluftgrad Fel fought against Ceriz Altrega in the Ifrit Atma. Fel also squared off against the New Wraith when they tried to steal Scandian technology. Fel is not assigned to any regiment in the League; he now serves as a floater, deployed independently wherever he is needed. He is something of a national hero in Scande. Fel is a believer in the purity of the Scandian Spartan lifestyle, believing that it is somehow intrinsically better the luxury-laden lives of citizens in capitalist countries. Fel participated in the inaugural Robotics Tournament, where, despite the awesome power of his mecha, the Onyx Drake, he was defeated in humiliating fashion by the KN Civil Defense Type. Rival Dracoforms ace Sheila Sporr has never let him forget it. Fel did not participate in the Second Tournament, honoring his government's decision to not allow Scandians to participate. It would be more accurate to describe Fel as a patriot than a communist, but right now the two are intertwined. Despite his admiration of Guardian-style chivalry, Fel is proud to serve the League and Rumanski.
