Race of anthromorphic wolves found in the Dragon Dimension and on Alter-Dragon.

Dragon Dimension

The Forest Clan consists of wolflike humanoids between six and seven feet tall. They are natural hunters and predators, endowed with excellent hearing and scent. (Although Forest Clanners that live in civilization for a long time can have their smell dulled). Before the Great War the Forest Clan cultivated a savage, yet noble existence as hunters, and even today many are skilled in bow hunting and wilderness survival. Many are in the SLCM, particularly as Biker Scouts; in fact, surviving in the Forest Clan's traditional forest with virtually nothing is an important part of Biker Scout training. Forest Clanners do have claws and teeth, but in modern Scandian times using these natural weapons is considered 'uncivilized'. Forest clanners have a variety of colors of fur, from arctic white to coal black to red to grey to everything in between. Some have even had spots. The tendency with age is for the fur to become slowly whiter, or even begin to fall out.

According to legend, the Forest Clan used to be fully lycanthropic, able to shit to between a large and powerful wolf form and a human form. This is similiar to certain Krydions and Primans shapeshifting abilities. However, this is probably a lost power, not referenced since the Time of Titans.

During the Great War the Dark Wrath not only poisoned large sections of their traditional hunting grounds with Chemical weapons they often engaged in hunting Forest clanners for sport. This led to the creation of a resistance movement involving Halder Skalice and Enrika Epyon.

Alter-Dragon Dimension

In Alter-Dragon, the Forest Clanners come in two varieties: a lupine variety, as described above, and a more dog-like variety, mockingly called the "domesticated ones" by the wolf-like members of this race. The wolf-like Forest Clanners are mostly loners with no land to call their own

The dog-like Domesticated Ones are frequently found in Capitan and Coursair. They aren't much for hunting; rather, these huskier, more muscular Clansmen have developed an uncanny streetsense, and are often employed as skilled thieves, burglars or bodyguards, especially as employed by the Priman Merchants Guild.

Both types of Forest Clanners tend to espouse proficiency in the use of the bow, though the city-dwelling Domesticated Ones have found crossbows more to their liking, as they are more easily concealed beneath a cloak than the average longbow.
