Dogu was once a career ZAPS agent, hand-picked by Norstein Bekkler to head up the agency's task force on cybersecurity in the earliest days of interdimensional computer networking across the Web of Worlds. Prior to working for ZAPS, Dogu studied computer science at PASA, and he used to "run the shadows" with a moogle named Dodger, back in the days when the Gate Dimension was known only as the secret, inaccessible base of the evil Queen Zeal, and the homeland of the Grand Army's General Glenn.
After Bekkler resumed his rightful place at the head of ZAPS following the Guardian Civil War, many of the old ZAPS crew were hired back. Dogu, however, did not return; in the interim, he had been hired on by the secretive Black Wind Organization in Porre, and had become their Director of Cyber Warfare and Intelligence. This position makes him one of the highest ranked non-humans in the government of the postwar Porrean Republic. He also sits as part of the Porrean delegation on the GATO ruling council.
Dogu's Gear
Dogu is usually armed with a pistol, provided to him by the Black Wind Organization, though he will usually rely on his Ice Magic if called on to defend himself. His most important piece of personal gear is is customized "deck," a modified GCC PowerPort laptop that he uses to "deck" across the OmniNet.
