History Leisha Kress Gavalian was born to Damien Arnason Gavalian and Emily Cartier Gavalian in Egmont, 38 WR. She was genetically enhanced to have a beautiful appearance, long life, genius level IQ, immunity to disease, and improved senses. Damien often wondered if he tampered with her too much...although she rapidly mastered the piano, and by the age of 20 had four doctorates (in Economics, Literature, Physics, and Genetics) she seemed to lack a killer instinct. Although her father genuinely loved her, he didn’t feel he could trust Kuat to her, and so on his death in 102 WR gave control of the corporation to her brother, Damien Walker Gavalian. Leisha uses much of her vast fortune to help the downtrodden. Soup kitchens and free clinics webwide have opened up on her funding, and she sometimes personally visits the Blight and other areas struck hard to give out money herself. Miraculously, she has never been attacked. Although Leisha has had several romances in her life, she has never really felt that she is love. Since first her father and then her brother did the so-called real work of the family, Leisha has pursued numerous hobbies in her lifetime. She contributed to the completion of the Quantum Field Theory, plays sold-out piano concerts (with the proceeds going to charity), and is an accomplished writer of short fiction under the pseudonym Sara Knight. One of her current projects is a biography of her father.
