History Born on a Tasnican medical frigate, Hector Midge has spent almost all his life in space. The most time he’s spent on the ground was during his training in the last class of the SRAN Academy, where he became friends with Henry Calhoun Remington. Hector is a third generation spacer; both his father and grandfather were born in space and served the Republic. After SRAN was disbanded Hector joined the RAF’s elite Special Combat Fleet, and rose to command it before ultimately becoming Admiral Supreme of the RAF. He is the number two man in the Tasnican military after the Prime Minister himself, and most consider him one of the finest commanders in the Web today. His leadership style is rather laid back, and he maintains a rapport with the junior and enlisted officers. His flagship is the Iceni VII, which he has nicknamed Old Number Seven. Because of his time in space (and simply luck), Hector still has the appearance of half his age. He is a current darling of the Tasnican media, who have fixed upon him as the definitive modern war hero. Hector is currently engaged to Nicole Zela, a popular Tasnican tennis star. The marriage will take place after the war.
