Mongoose Scout Walker

Light mecha produced by the Kuat Consortium for scouting purposes. Introduced in the early forties. A simple design with no torso or arms; simply a boxy head mounted on two legs. (Like all Kuat-made walkers, the legs bend backwards like a birds; Kuat claims this gives their mecha higher running speed.) Typical armament is a minigun or light autocannon in the "chin" and a grenade launcher or rack of four anti-tank missiles on the left side of the head; the right side of the head houses a pod with advanced sensors. The high speed of the design and its all-terrain capability make it an effective scout. Used by the Eblanese Kingdom Armed Forces, the Republic Marine Corps, and elsewhere.
