Banshee Vectored Thrust Attack Aircraft Kuat knows vectored thrust craft better than anyone, after years of producing the GA Spitfire. The Banshee is built around our finest engine yet, a massive turbojet that gives the Banshee three times the thrust of a Spitfire. Like the Spitfire, the Banshee flies by changing the direction of thrust of this powerful engine. Two smaller engines help provide stability. This gives the Banshee VTOL capabilities. The Banshee is not quite as rugged as the legendary Spitfire, but is much faster. The Banshee comes with a minigun, and a hardpointsfor either a Lion autocannon or 60 mm flare cannon, and hardpoints for either wire-guided missiles or laser-guided bombs. Popular for close-air support.
Ballista-C Bomber The Corps and Fleets each have their own variant of the Ballista. The Corps have made it a fast strike ground bomber. It has a defensive turret, but it its main defense is its speed. It has several thousand pound laser-guided bombs to prep a landing zone or give the Marines fire support. The bombs can be high-explosive or armor-piercing. The Ballista is still the primary heavy fire support of the Marines.
