High-Mobility Ground-Effect Skirt Transport (HMGEST, “Hum-Gee”) The HMGEST, or ‘Hum-Gee’, is an open vehicle with seating for five battlesuited marines placed atop a vectored-thrust jet engine contained in a ground-effect skirt. In other words, it’s a 5-man hovercraft. Two seats face forward, for a driver and a gunner. HMGEST’s are lightly armed with a grenade launcher or Tiger light autocannon. The other three seats face backward. This is the Marines’ most common way of getting around once deployed from a dropship.
Mongoose-C Scout Walker Augmenting the Peltasts in recon, the Mongoose-C is very similar to the Kuat Consortium’s stock Mongoose, as a small, boxy mecha with chicken legs and no arms. It is armed with a minigun or light autocannon. The biggest difference in the ‘C’ variant (for Corps) is that on either side of the central box are handholds for two battlesuited Marines. This allows the Mongoose to work with Peltasts in scouting, or act as a small-scale infantry transport in a pinch.
Lugar Tracked Artillery The same as Kuat’s standard-issue model. The Lugar is a 210 mm artillery cannon on treads. No armor, not enclosed. Provides heavy, non-aerospace reliant fire support.
