Post
Kupopolis uses a bulletin board system to hold its stories. A post is a single entry to this system - the message that is added to the board when the "Submit" button is pressed. The phrase originates from the idea of posting a sign on a regular bulletin board. Thus, post is a verb as well; you can post a post to the board. "I have just posted" and "I have just put up a post" mean the exact same thing.
Due to the nature of the story and for ease of readability, long stories/chapters are often broken into multiple posts (generally an average of 1000 to 2500 words). When these story posts are clearly grouped together, they are collectively referred to as a single "post"; In other words, you can post a long post that is composed of many individual posts.
Long posts (in the sense of story groupings rather than individual entries) of perhaps 25,000 words or more are considered megaposts, or Megas.
It is also possible to eat some Post (cereal) while posting a post, and you can even eat some post while reading a post and posting another post in another post... I mean window. Just don't hit your head on a post or the post you post might not make so much sense. Kind of like this paragraph.
