Overview

Grover Steuber majored in political science in college. Born in Tasnicaport, Steuber has spent almost his entire life immersed in politics. He worked on several races working his way up the campaign consultant ladder. Eventually he was regional chair for the Committee to Re-Elect Palmerston (CREEP). For most of his life, Steuber worked for Conservative candidates, not because he believed in the Conservative cause, but because he liked to win and hated to lose. He offered to manage Kenneth Brackhaven’s campign in 40 WR mainly for the sheer challenge of it. Harnessing union organization and focusing Kenny’s message on anti-corporatism and peace, Steuber helped propel the three-hundred pound ex-Socialist to the Prime Ministry of Tasnica. Steuber was transferred to the new administration as Senior Political Adviser, with the job of making sure Kenny was re-elected in 45. This was a task he succeeded beautifully in, defeating challenge from Conservative Vorten Tuinne. Now he's working on re-electing Kenny in 50. Grover is something of a workaholic. He gets up two hours before his boss, Kenny, and reads his daily thick binder of polling data. Kenny can be a skilled politician, particularly in Senatorial politics, but sometimes those ideals of his get in the way of re-election. The other members of Kenny’s administration almost universally hate Steuber, particularly since his advice tends to trump anyone else’s.
