A "mega" or "megapost" is a very very large post, often containing an entire story arc within itself. Megas are used to explore certain things at great depth; they are sometimes used for major plot events, other times they are used to explore a side story of the Kupopolis universe in detail. The first post to be called a "megapost" was Quiet Mining Colony, by Celiose, a post detailing Kuat's oppression of workers in an asteroid mining colony and the consequences of Typhon being found there. It has 25,000 words, 52 pages, (in MS Word), and was divided into 32 parts; although nowadays some Iron Writer entries are of comparable size at the time the size and the unleashing of an entire arc-in-a-post earned it the title of "megapost". Megaposts were extremely popular during Kupopolis Neo.
