Fairy

Tiny fae creatures found on numerous worlds, in a variety of forms and sub-races. In general, Fairies are small, often female, have vaguely insectoid wings (often resembling those of butterflies, dragonflies or moths) and an innate mastery of magic.

WHERE TO FIND FAIRIES!?

• Light Dimension: Throughout Hyland, fairies can sometimes be found and caught in bottles. Bigger fairies sometimes live in caves, and give away bombs, arrows or money to those who find them.
• Crystal Dimension: In the Underground, there lives a race of fairies known as Sylphs. Sylphs are much larger than the typical fairy, being of slightly less-than Dwarfish height, and often ally with Dwarves against Drow Elf incursions.
• Esper Dimension: Several Espers took fairy-like shapes in times past.
• Gate Dimension: In El Nido, on the island of Feypoole, a race of water-sprites can be found. Feypoole's fairies take part (although somewhat less-seriously than they should) in the confederated democratic government of El Nido.
• Dragon Dimension: Stories from the distant past tell of the existence of fairies in Dragon during the Time of Titans.
• Alter Dimension: In Alterian Elementalism, Fairies are believed to be the messengers and servants of the Mana Goddess.
