History
Nina Dower was born to Admiral James Dower, one of the Original Nineteen captains of the Sky Riders. Because of this, it was expected that both her and her brother, Renton, would enter the SRAN since they were young. Her brother defied these expectations to go to college, which disappointed both of her parents. She had always been more nationalistic than Renton, having seen the events of the Leviathan War play out on television and having spent her younger years in Maranda, around the Returners Expeditionary Force. When she turned seventeen, she chose to join the Esper Union Aerospacy. Her parents all but disowned her, but Captain Velmore took the girl under her wing. She ultimately brought her into Lost Ragnarok, after convincing her of the problems that had befallen the Esper Union since the Leviathan War.
