The Dragon Kings are immensely powerful mecha that uses technology from the Advent Dimension. Dragon Kings are largely unique, and only a small number exist beyond the Advent Seal. However, they compose some of the strongest machines in the Web; Dragon Kings are potentially capable of fighting thousands of other armored vehicle and may be a match for Seraphim.

History
Dragon Kings were made using powerful magitechnology from Advent. The nature of the original Advene Dragon Kings is unknown, as the Advene Data Crystals that had schematics stored on them only included how to create the key systems needed to make a Dragon King. What little is known suggests that they were half-organic and half-mechanical in nature, and likely did not make use of combining multiple vehicles. However, the Dragon Kings that the Web knows showed up first in 41 WR, when the first and only one was constructed in a top secret agreement by officers of the Esper Union, Kingdom of Guardia, Scandian League, and Tasnican Republic under the advice of the Grand Army. This unit, Escandizer, was created as the centerpiece of the Justice Dragon Division.
For some time, Escandizer was believed to be the only Dragon King in the Web of Worlds. However, an incident in late 45 WR revealed that Dr. Merton, an independent rogue scientist, had found a data crystal meant to be used by Escandizer's pilot, Juste Mackenzie. From this, he constructed his own Dragon King, Ultramacio. Since then, there has been some concern that the technology to create Dragon Kings has spread beyond the Justice Dragon Division. This has yet to be confirmed.
One piece of information known about Dragon Kings is that Escandizer, which was named by Sivan Magnus, would be the 28th Dragon King. This suggests that twenty-seven Dragon Kings exist or have existed in Advent. By default, the 29th Dragon King would be Ultramacio.
Schematics
Dragon Kings revolve around a special variant of an Advene Data Crystal. This crystal is attuned to a single emotion; in the case of Escandizer, this emotion is courage. It then uses the pilot's emotion to fuel itself and further empower the crystal. This allows the Dragon King to perform, providing energy for basic locomotion, as well as energy for its attacks. The process to create these crystals involves high energy magical treatments to existing Advene Data Crystals. It should be noted that the Justice Dragon Division has hypothesized that the same treatment could be given to magilyte and Dreamstone, but this has not been tested yet.
Escandizer employed a technique not included in the data crystal that the JDD had in its possession. It employs a central crystal, and then four smaller ones that link it to the main crystal (which is held in Juste's mecha, Balmung). This allows the other four component vehicles to link up and form the Dragon King. This is non-traditional, and was only employed by Escandizer. If more Dragon Kings are made outside of Advent, however, these units may incorporate similar systems.
Dragon Kings are generally highly personalized, as they respond well to a specific emotion. Because of this, it is rare for a single Dragon King to have more than one pilot at any time. The machines tend to adapt to the needs and styles of their respective pilots.

The Ultimate Justice Glorious Dragon King Escandizer, to use its full title, is the 28th Dragon King. It was developed in 41 WR, using information stored on data crystals in the possession of its future pilot, Juste Mackenzie. The weapon serves as the center piece of the Justice Dragon Division. However, its power and size relative to technology deployed in the rest of the Web is overwhelming. Because of this, Escandizer is composed of five separate units. The central unit, Balmung, holds its crystal, while the others have smaller crystals that link to it. Furthermore, while Juste acts as the main pilot of Escandizer, the others can operate their respective subsystems to lessen his boredom. The vehicle is immense and exceedingly human-like; the face is crafted to look like a man's, and it appears to be wearing black armor with golden lining. The rest of the body is largely white, with some red lining here and there. Furthermore, it has a clear dragon motif, with a tail (from the Dracoform) and a dragon emblem on its head.
KN-01JDD Balmung
- Manufacturer: Justice Dragon Division Research and Development, Fort Locke Research Group
- User: Justice Dragon Division
- Height: 35 feet
- Fixed Armament:
- Justice Beam Cannon (left forearm)
- 25mm gravitic vulcan (chest)
- 12mm gravitic machinegun (chest)
- Optional Armament:
- Pilot: Juste Mackenzie
Balmung is the centerpiece of Escandizer. It is fundamentally a modified KN Garrison, but the modifications are extensive. The paint job is entirely done in dark blues, with some golden lining. Furthermore, the head has a more human-like look; it appears to have a samurai helmet over a realistic-looking white face. Moreover, it is significantly faster, and has a powerful Advene energy cannon mounted in its left forearm. It is largely covered by the rest of Escandizer when the machine forms, though its head makes up the basis for the larger machine's head. It is significantly stronger, better armored, and faster than a standard KN Garrison.
001DF-JDD Zog Knight
- Manufacturer: Justice Dragon Division Research and Development, Scandian League Combined Military
- User: Justice Dragon Division
- Height: 40 feet
- Fixed Armament:
- Magitek flamethrower x 1 (head)
- 75mm Gatling electromag guns x 2 (arms)
- 30mm Antipode cannons x 4 (2 per shoulder)
- Rocket launchers x 2 (1 per shoulder))
- Pilot: Francis Danzau
The Zog Knight is a modified version of the standard Zog Dracoform. It makes up the bottom of Escandizer when forming the full machine, and composes much of its firepower. When acting as part of the Justice Dragon Division's forces, it tends to play the role of heavy fire support while the Balmung and King Leo Rook act as frontline fighters. The Zog Knight is piloted by the allegedly deceased Scandian ace, Francis Danzau. The Zog Knight looks deceptively like a normal Zog, but has had its armor improved significantly and its speed bolstered by powerful thrusters. It also has a magitek flamethrower installed into its mouth.
MBT-JDD MkIII Leo Rook
- Manufacturer: Justice Dragon Division Research and Development, The Grand Army
- User: Justice Dragon Division
- Length: 25 feet
- Fixed Armament:
- 128mm Merton cannon (left shoulder)
- 25mm Magitek beam emitters x 4 (right shoulder)
- Retractable pepperbox missile launcher
- Pilot: Charles Marcus
The King Leo Rook forms Escandizer's head. This unit was the least modified of the components of the Dragon King, with its only additional systems being the data crystal installed into it, a powerful thruster system that allows it to jump, and a retractable pepperbox missile launcher. The King Leo Rook also composes the second half of the Justice Dragon's main battle forces, assisting Balmung when the units are separated. It is worth noting that while it typically employs the 25mm magitek beam emitters, it can use a wide variety of Grand Army weaponry on the modules attached to it. Its cannon also forms one of the strongest weapons at Escandizer's disposal. It was formerly piloted by Charles Marcus, but he was killed in action fighting Dr. Merton.
KCF-39JDD Rapier Bishop
- Manufacturer: Justice Dragon Division Research and Development
- User: Justice Dragon Division
- Height: 320 feet
- Fixed Armament:
- Giga Merton cannon x 0.5 (requires the second fighter to complete the cannon)
- 60mm Flare cannons x 1 (fuselage)
- 20mm needle vulcans x 2 (nose)
- Multipurpose missile launchers x 6 (3 per each forearm)
- Pilots: Erin Lambaster, Reina Lambaster
The Rapier Bishop units make up each arm of Escandizer. The two jet fighters are piloted by the Lambaster twins. Each is a heavily armed, modified Rapier fighter. These modifications include vulcans mounted in the nose for increased dogfighting capacity and Giga Merton emitters on the fuselage. If the two align, they can generate and fire a blast of Giga Merton energy. They have also been modified to have a vertical take-off and landing mechanism.
The 29th Dragon King: Ultramacio
- Manufacturer: Dr. Merton
- User: Dr. Merton
- Height: 330 feet
- Fixed Armament:
- Photon beam emitters x 2 (eyes)
- Beam whip x 1 (left arm)
- Merton emitters x 6 (chest)
- Optional Armament:
- Crimson Scimitar
- Pilot: Dr. Merton
The 29th Dragon King, Ultramacio, was constructed by Dr. Merton from information he gathered from Advene Data Crystals. Unlike Escandizer, it was built for finesse and lethality, but sacrificed firepower to do so. It was white and alien-looking, with a barrel chest, a cone-shaped head, and bulbuous limbs. The main weapon it used was the Crimson Scimitar, a blade that included numerous magitek energy emitters that can fire bolts of red energy. It also had a powerful beam whip, which used a stream of coherent light to slice through most anything. This made Ultramacio far more effective in single combat. It was only used once, to battle Escandizer. Despite nearly being victorious, it was destroyed along with the rest of Esper III's second moon.
