Well, I should point out that Scande has very good stealthyt echnology; variously, their APCs, light tanks, certain spacecraft, and certain other things are various referenced as being stealthy (cause they're sneaky!). (Though not Dracoforms, but don't let the fact that the Dracoforms are the most prominent piece of Scandian military technology let you think they're representative)--[[User:Celiose|Celiose]] 20:20, 9 August 2006 (CDT) | Well, I should point out that Scande has very good stealthyt echnology; variously, their APCs, light tanks, certain spacecraft, and certain other things are various referenced as being stealthy (cause they're sneaky!). So...more help question...how do I link to a category? Not write something so that what I'm writing about is part of a category, but so I could have a link to display all (for example) "Diplomats", or whatever. --Celiose 17:48, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
I don't know, actually. Generally linking to a category makes the page a member of that category. There are two tags, <noinclude> </noinclude> and <includeonly> </includeonly> , but I can never remember what exactly they do or if either is the answer to your problem. A work-around solution is to simply create a list page instead: List of diplomats or something. Check out the help pages on [en.wikipedia.org Wikipedia]. - X Stryker
OK, Travis, I found the answer and posted it on the Help page. Xstryker 10:05, 31 July 2006 (CDT)
What year was the OmniSent Conflict? Xstryker 13:12, 3 August 2006 (CDT)
Well, depends on what you mean...the omnisent unveiled itself to the Web in 29, but I'm pretty the battles of Albrook and Atlanatis were in 31 or 32. So figure 31 was the actual "conflict", when things started to get violent. --Celiose 02:09, 7 August 2006 (CDT)
Do Scandians make battlesuits and if so what are they called? --Xstryker 15:44, 8 August 2006 (CDT)
No, they don't make battlesuits. --Celiose 20:16, 8 August 2006 (CDT)
Do you mind if I have them make a simple prototype battlesuit for lunar operations? --Xstryker 07:44, 9 August 2006 (CDT)
Some kind of treaded vehicle or even a small Dracoform would be more appropriate--but if your plan calls for a battlesuit, then you can have a prototype battlesuit.--Celiose 14:33, 9 August 2006 (CDT)
I could easily see a modified moleform being used, but I need my characters to have maneuverability. I would have called it a Ticonderan prototype (I still can), but I wanted to have an excuse to have a Gant-sized model. So let's say this prototype is for Collective and S/31 usage, because a battlesuit offworld is stealthy in comparison to vehicles. This would be a relatively light, flexible suit. --Xstryker 19:04, 9 August 2006 (CDT)
- Travis may feel differently, but IMO if what you're looking for is a light, flexible and stealthy suit, you'd probably want something Ticonderan. Since Scande uses dirty fossil fuel technology, and I can't see anything they built in the way of a battlesuit being anything resembling stealthy. Scen 20:18, 9 August 2006 (CDT)
