Wisdon
City in the Arad desert, one of the holiest cities in Dragon. Sacred to both the il'Bleu and the Draggoneth, a status which led to a great deal of conflict in Dragon's history.
Legends
Wisdon is venerated by the il'Bleu (as the birthplace of Bleu, timeless enemy of Tyr) Draggoneth doesn't exist yet.
The Titan Aluqah, however, has made Wisdon his capital, bringing artisans and magicians from across the World of Titans to create wonders as testament to his greatness. Using wishes from Tyr he has created a paradise in the desert. Wisdon floats above the sands and has a barrier impervious to any assault. (As if Aluqah needs it, what with his army of Djinn and all).
Compared to the harsh desert around it, Wisdon is paradise on earth, but the price of entry is to submit totally to the will of Aluqah and become his slave.Only the Tyranids are free of this restriction; after all, their provision of sensual delights is part of what makes the city so attractive.
Of course, Aluqah's favored slaves have all the food, gold, women (or men), and other luxuries they could want, so long as they do his will. Lesser servants in the city barely have a free will at all, becoming mindless slaves of the titan. More intelligent and more valuable servants retain their intellect (a mindless mage, or an artist incapable of creating, is worthless, after all.) These "lucky" residents run the risk of being randomly killed by Aluqah (who reasons anyone this close to him with a mind of his own is a threat.)
Aluqah sometimes entertains his fellow Titans in Wisdon; one might even go so far as to describe it as the "resort town" of the Time of Titans. A favorite past time is fornicating and otherwise defacing the various sacred shrines to Bleu; as the Titans venerate Tyr, they often take a perverse joy in dishonoring Bleu.
Like almost all the wishes Tyr grants, the lushness and wealth of Wisdon serves a darker purpose. It reminds the Al-Raud tribes that they must choose between hellish desert and total slavery. Aluqah's rule over such a city also inspires jealousy and conflict with his fellow titans.
Proper
Totally ruined and destroyed during the Great War, and the new communist regime of the Scandian League had no interest in rebuilding a religious symbol.
