The native shamanistic tradition of the Merfolk of both El Nido and Alter-Mana. Spellsinging effects include various charm magics and water-effect spells, conjured through song. Most Merfolk display talent with this ability to some degree.

Non-Merfolk Spellsingers

In Alter-Mana, the Merfolk of Bucca have trained a number of Harpy spellsingers, allowing the Harpies to hone and improve their innate spellsinging talent to a degree not found among other Harpy tribes elsewhere. It is believed that the Elven Minstrels in Diorre learned the practice of weaving magical effects from music from contact with Merfolk Spellsingers. Bards in both Merge and Crystal also practice a form of Spellsinging, which they developed independent of the Merfolk.
