Prime Orbital 1 is the GSF base on one of the two moons encircling the world of Gate III. It is here that the GSF officers corps is trained. Whatever one thinks about the base`s overseer, Grand Admiral Thames, PO1`s rigorous training program produces the best-trained fighter pilots in the Web and the most competent, disciplined officer`s corps outside the Grand Army itself. If you were to ask Admiral Thames, PO1 and Fort Arris truly do not belong under this categorization; they are not four-year universities. They prepare a soldier for a life as a soldier; colleges, on the other hand, prepare a citizen for a life as a citizen. There is little overlapping between the two in Guardia.
