Old Man Ruger arrived, along with Kupello, in Grand Casar eight years ago. No one quite knows where he came from -- as far as anyone knew, there weren't a great many Western colonists with the original fleet -- but he opened up Ruger's Arms shortly thereafter. No one knows his first name or much about him, but despite an outwardly rough demeanor, he is fiercely protective of the town and its inhabitants. He acts as an elder in the town and is seen by many as a leader.
History
Everyone knows that Old Man Ruger is part of the infamous Ruger family, a family of gunfighters, though no one has seen him do more than the occasional trick shooting. His history before coming to Grand Casar is a question mark and, unlike Kupello, he brooks no discussion of it in his presence. Ruger insists that he is retired from his old life, whatever it might have been. He has ran Ruger's Arms for eight years, manufacturing simple firearms for the people of Grand Casar, for the purposes of hunting and protection.
Personal Life
Old Man Ruger lives on his own and keeps to himself. He is well-respected in Grand Casar, but he isn't very social. He sticks to his store, occasionally visiting elders and the mayor to speak on matters of concern. He still has many customers, who come to his store and sometimes seek his advice.
Special Skills/Abilities
Old Man Ruger is a brilliant gunsmith; his firearms, even on Avalon, are among the best in the Web. There are, of course, whispers that he is an incredible gunfighter. No one in Grand Casar has seen him fight.
