Kuat Arms Kuat Consortium is one of the largest armaments manufacters in existence. In addition to manufactering the bulk of the RMC and RAF equipment, it has a wide variety of weapons available for purchase. Because of the war, the only nations allowed to buy Kuat weapons are those in the Triad, Pandora, Kakkara, and Polias. Kuat also has weapons that it reserves for its own forces, the elite Black Omega and the more conventional Arms Experts. Kuat has about ten regiments and six mecha regiments of Arms Experts. Weapons Kuat keeps to itself are marked with an *. The Tasnican National Militia used the weapons described here almost exclusively. Before, a general note on weapon types that show up here and also in the other Tasnican equipment sheets: Manaprism Cannon are at the big end of the spectrum. This powerful energy weapon fires a magitek beam that splits on impact, hitting several targets within the vicinity of the original target. Usually only mounted on large capital ships. Blaze Cannon are relatively short range, but have a high volume of fire. They’re energy machine guns, with an added incendiary effect. Usually used on vehicles or fighters, but also on capital ships as anti-fighter batteries. Xaser weapons are x-ray lasers. They are powerful and have long range, but have a very slow rate of fire. Unlike manaprism, which covers an area, Xaser weapons focus in on a single point. They usually require a bulky coolant apparatus, and have a long cooldown time. Their range and penetration power makes them ideally suited to be sniper weapons. Available to the RMC in infantry size; a mecha-sized rifle is presented here.

Personal Arms N1-121 Self Defender If you use this gun, you suck.

N2-132 Heavy Pistol The standard sidearm. Large clip, semi-automatic and burst fire. Shiny.

N3-128 Sport Rifle A hunting rifle. Accepts standard-size tranquilizer rounds.

N4-134 Autogun A no-frills needle assault rifle. Popular in poorer armies because of their low cost. Cheap, and highly reliable, with good rate of fire and clip size.

N4Z-140 Zeta Assault Rifle This is the gun with all the toys. First aid kit in the butt, underbarrel grenade launcher, variable flashlight/laser sight (fully capable of relaying tactical data to a friendly unit), integral recoild reduction, targeting scope with lowlight and thermographic vision, emergency shortwave radio, and heat bayonet. And, its a gun with a big clip size and good rate of fire.

N5 Shotgun What the barkeep uses to kill you when he’s pissed.

N7-118 Heavy Machine Gun It needs a tripod. It fires, fast. Rarely jams, even in the worst conditions. Belt fed. Machine guns have changed little in years.

N8-132 Minigun This multi-barreled weapon achieves a rate of fire rivaled by few other weapons in the Web. Usually this kind of weapon would be restricted to a vehicle mount, but the miracle of gyrostabilizations lets a Marine brace one on his chest pivot. Usually at least one person per squad has this, to make sure infantry are dead. In the Arms Experts, who do not use battlesuits, the person has a gyromount stabilizer harness.

N10-123 Behemoth Gun The Behemoth Gun is specially designed for big game hunting. It is a double-barreled large caliber rifle with an extra-length barrel (the longest in the business: 6 feet). With special Exploding APDS or hollow point rounds, the N10 Behemoth Gun is capable of taking down the toughest game. Simple break action makes for easy loading. In a pinch, it is capable of piercing most vehicle’s armor.

N11-124 SMG Developed to meet the needs of special forces requiring an easily concealable yet powerful weapon, the N11 SMG delivers assault rifle firing rates in a weapon scarcely larger than a pistol. Kuat’s SMG fires light pistol rounds, so it trades hitting power for rate of fire. Modes are burst fire and semiatuomatic.

PGL-140 Thunderstorm Pistol This large pistol fire fin-stabilized, rocket-propelled microgrenades. Much larger than most sidearms, about the size of an SMG. Massive stopping power, but tends to rip the arms off of the person who fires it (unless they’re cybered or battlesuited). Also has a small clip size.

  • AGL-140 Hell’s Fury Rifle

An automatic grenade launcher. Massive recoil, often mounted on a tripod, gyromount, vehicle, or used by someone with cyberware. Typically fires HE minigrenades. Usually used to set up suppressive fire. Ofen mounted on vehicles for use as an infantry support weapon.

G1 Lightlord Xaser Sniper Rifle This weapon creates a tightly focused beam of x-rays. Extremely accurate and very long range. Capable of piercing many vehicles and mecha, but generally doesn’t do enough damage to destroy them. Crack shots can kill only the pilot. Hampered by its slow rate of fire and bulky cooling apparatus.

Bazookas Available as resuable and disposable, and with no guidance, wire guidance, and laser guidance.

Mecha Arms

MM1 Heat Axe Its a big axe, and it gets really damned hot and cuts through things. Bulky, but strong.

MM2 Beam Sabre. Usually, mecha found in the National Militia use the heat axe, while Arms Experts use the superior beam sabres. Of course, Black Omega gets...

  • MM3 Strong Nuclear Force Blade

This weapon harnesses the powers that bind items into a coherent blade. Not only does it cut through things (including most conventional beam sabres), it does a huge amount of knockback. Even if the enemy mecha does survive the hit, its usually knocked down or sent flying.

ML-140 Vulture Continuous Lucent Beam A modern version of the continuous lucent beam. Although sized for a mecha, its still an anti-personnel weapon. No anti-mecha versions...yet.

MN1-130 Walker SMG A mecha-sized submachine gun. 50 mm, usuable by one hand.

MN2-130 Walker Assault Rifle An 85 mm autocannon as a mecha rifle.

MN3-140 Automatic Shotgun A full-autofire, mecha sized shotgun. Much more effective at short range than an assault rifle, but less effective at long range.

  • MN4-140 Saturation Gun

This autofire gun fires explosive autocannon rounds over a ninety degree field of fire. Enough ammunition only for one five-second discharge. Usually used for supressing fire, or killing lots of light mecha or tanks.

MM-132 Quad Missile Launcher Kuat’s mecha bazooka fires four missiles at once, because someone in design thought that would be cooler. In practical terms, four smaller missiles are harder to dodge with countermeasures than one large missile.

MG Mecha Grenade Kuat makes mecha-sized grenades that can be hand-thrown.

  • MX Xaser Sniper Rifle

Long range, high power, low rate of fire. Mechanically fragile and high maintencne. Most Black Omega use them to take out the enemy’s cockpit at extreme range.

  • MB Firearrow Blaze Saturation Gun

Essentially an energy machine gun, the Firearrow as a tendency to overheat but attains a massive rate of fire exceeding any ballistic weapon. Typically used against light vehicles or aircraft. The bolts have incendiary properties.
