Mythril

A metal ore that can be found in virtually every dimension, especially in places where mana is strong. Chemically, there is little difference in composition between Mythril and the more common Silver, but exposure as ore to high concentrations of ambient mana lends the metal a special quality when forged. Mythril items are highly receptive to enchantment and make for excellent magical weapons, armor and accessories.

The Silveran Islands are particularly known for holding near limitless deposits of several precious and magic minerals, one of the most abundant of which is mythril.
