Morrie Rausberger routinely got in trouble as a child for throwing things out his bedroom window to hear the noise it made when it hit the ground. When he did this to his pet hamster's cage (thankfully without Harvey the Hamster inside), his parents knew there was something not quite right about him. As he grew older, this fasnication with breaking things was sated by regular trips to the local garbage dump, where he would happily take a mallet to the mechanical refuse. Shop class was an experiment in disaster, as young Morrie would not only take his own projects apart when he was done, but his classmates' as well. (Fortunately, his instructors were never stupid enough to leave him in the shop with anything explosive.)

As he reached physical maturity (emotional and mental maturity has yet to arrive), Morrie developed an interest in weaponry, firearms in particular, and formed the habit of taking guns and rifles and whatever else he could get his hands on apart and -- since he was usually doing this at a gun shop -- putting them back together again. This led him to getting a job for a gun shop, breaking down older models which had no hope of being refurbished and resold, or even sold to collectors. His knack for this sort of work led him to Kuat Arms, and that in turn led him to his partner in crime, Iggy Smucker. Together, they live underneath a Kuat warehouse in South Side Egmont, testing weapons, taking them apart, testing new technology to the utter limit, and just generally blowing shit up.

Morrie loves to push the envelope, whether this means the limitations of the current project, or the social tolerances of the more conservative citizens of Egmont. While not as clever or intuitive as his parter Iggy, Morrie's keenness for how things are put together lends itself well to Iggy's engineering background.
