Mana Sword

The Mana Sword is wielded by the Mana Knight. Two are known to exist; it's not clear what powers are associated with the sword itself, and what powers are associated with being the Mana Knight.

Mana Dimension

The Mana Knight of the Mana Dimension is Fara Somers. The Mana Sword has demonstrated a couple of main powers:

• The Mana Sword can be manifested or demanifested more or less at will; it also take the form of different kinds of swords as per the user's preference. It's "default" is a broadsword. As such, it is completely inseperable from the Mana Knight.

• The Mana Sword can cut through strands of magic, making the Mana Knight almost impervious to magical attacks.

• The Mana Sword allows the Mana Knight to use a kind of limited and highly specialized form of Mana Elemental Magic, whereby different sword and melee combat effects can be acheived by focusing on different elementals. Gnome, for example, is useful for providing a shield against bullets and other physical attacks; Lumina provides a similiar sheath against energy-based attacks. It should be noted that unlike most elemental magic, an avatar of the Elemental does not physically manifest. Interestingly, this also allows the Mana Knight to tune down the lethality of the sword, "pulling their punches" and making it a highly effective but nonlethal knockout stick.

Alter Dimension

The current Mana Knight of Alter is Irzoile Ricrot, who inherited his Mana Sword from Duran Ferrant. The Alterian Mana Sword has thus far exhibited the same abilities as Fara's sword, though it sees slightly less field use, as it has become something of a symbol of office for Forthena's king.
