Kracian port city in Greater Woldheim, and the most easily accessible port for Taznikanze sailing from Taznikaport. As the center of trade linking Krace with the rest of the world, Korsyra must rank with Taznikaport and Centwerp as one of the wealthiest cities in the World of Mana. Not surprisingly, it has a significant minority of free Taznikanze, who have set up shop.

Korsyra is built largely out of stone and marble, with paved roads, aqueducts, public baths, and other Kracian engineering marvels. Its wealth has attracted talent, including the philosopher and tutor Epistrophus and the engineer Idomeneus. The most recent engineering marvel constructed by the city is a massive temple to Ofanite, the Elemental spirit of Man.

The ruling government of the city consists of twelve Ephors, who, in theory at least, are the wisest and most educated men in the city. There is one Ephor who is most senior, but even he acts mostly as a 'first among equals.'

Korsyra is among the more cosmopolitan cities in the World of Mana, as a Kracian city that has opened itself to the great culture of the Euser continent: Pan Dore, Taznikanze, and Ingrish. Korsyrans are at once proud of Kracian greatness while being fascinated by the eccentricities and strangeness of other cultures. Its a common view in Korsyra that Krace should act as an educator for the "younger" peoples, and it is no coincidence that many of the most sought-after tutors (such as Epistrophus make their home here. Another consequence of this influx of peoples was the wide diversity of religion in the city; although Elementalism was far and away most common and most practiced, worship of Chrystalis and other dieties is growing. (Even Zahd has gained a handful of Kracian adherents in Korsyra).

Korsyra has its own force of hoplites and triremes for defense against Taznikanze raiders, centaurs, and other Kracians.
